Central Okinawa – Maeda Beach and Zakimi Castle

Brian and Ryder find a beautiful beach and take a sunset ice cream break at a castle in Yomitan. And they chat with some of the local tourist traffic along the way.

Maeda Beach is one of the best beaches to visit and relax on, definitely can be a crowded place during peak times. This beach location has a bit of everything. It’s a popular surfing spot, great for snorkeling, and just general beach lounging. It’s got some nice look off spots, stunning views of the teal blue water inside the reef, and there are caves in cliffs that have been there since WWII.

It’s a very photogenic place, not to be outdone by Zakimi Castle, where the guys ended their trip today.
