Salvatore Cuomo – Italian Fare

Salvatore Cuomo has some great, reasonably priced food for a resort restaurant. And the atmosphere in this part of the Manza Beach Resort is really nice, with shops and restaurants scattered around the beach facilities below the hotel. Our favorite thing about our trip to the resort was how tucked away it is from everything. After turning in from the main road and passing the gate, you feel like you really are in vacationland. And luckily, the facilities are open to non-guests who’d like to come just for the food or the beach.

The restaurant itself is a cozy little spot with both indoor and outdoor seating. It has an open kitchen which lets you enjoy watching the chefs prepare the food, and a wood fired pizza oven making it feel like an authentic italian kitchen. The restaurant is located just past the lower beach parking, as we said in a great location to grab lunch while enjoying the activities and facilities the resort has to offer.

Open from 11am to 5pm (closed on Tuesdays and Fridays) and last order is at 16:00. There are some great menu items and priced reasonably. You can order a variety of appetizers and antipasti starting at about ¥500, and pizzas and pasta dishes starting at about ¥1,100.

Helpful Tip for enjoying your time at the resort: you’ll be driving straight past the famous cliffs at Manzamo, one of the most iconic sight seeing locations on the main island. Don’t miss your chance to stop and take a picture! Find your way to Manzamo HERE
